The Washington Redskins have hired Ike Hilliard as their wide receivers coach.
Hilliard coached the Redskins receivers in 2012 before leaving for the same position with the Buffalo Bills in 2013.
He is more notable for what he did as a player, spending 12 seasons in the league, most with the New York Giants.
Hilliard is already familiar with new Washington coach Jay Gruden – the two worked together in 2009 with the Florida Tuskers of the UFL. Redskins coordinators Jim Haslett and Sean McVay were also on the Tuskers staff that year.
