Redskins WR Leonard Hankerson injures hamstring in Friday practice

Redskins receiver Leonard Hankerson sustained a hamstring injury during Friday’s practice, the final one before Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Coach Mike Shanahan said Hankerson’s injury happened at the very end of practice, and he will be listed as “questionable” for Sunday.

Hankerson told reporters he didn’t warm up properly before the workout, and expects to play Sunday.

Shanahan also updated the status of kicker Kai Forbath, who is also fighting a groin injury.

Forbath was supposed to return to kicking today, but was unable to. He will try again tomorrow.

Other players on the injury list include defensive linemen Stephen Bowen, Barry Cofield and Kedric Golston, as well as safety Brandon Meriweather. All of those players were able to practice.
